Newark Civil War Centre textiles project

We have an exciting new textiles project! The National Civil War Museum in Newark would like us to make banners like those used in the Civil War to liven up their displays.
However, we don’t expect you to take your sewing machines to Newark! This is a project that you can work on at home, or in small
groups.

These images are examples of what we are looking for – some are quite straightforward, and some are more complex, so
you can choose the ones you are comfortable with. The sizes will vary, and all materials and expenses will be paid for.
