Guests of members

You are welcome to our lectures at Broadway, at a fee of £9.00 at present. Payment can be made by card at the lecture the guest is attending (we no longer take cash).

The committee has made the difficult decision to increase our guest fee to £15, from November onwards. Whilst we welcome guests in the hope they will join us, we must prioritise our rising membership (now over 500).  Last season we were almost at full capacity at times, due to a significant increase in guests. We would encourage guests to join us at the second lecture where there is usually more seating available. However, we reserve the right to limit guest numbers to benefit our members.

In respect of Special Interest Days and Visits, we will be prioritising  members in the first instance.

Other Guests

Anyone who has seen our literature or heard of us in other ways, and who would like to attend a lecture to determine if they would like to join as a member is also welcome to come as a guest for the same fee of £9.00 or £15 from November onwards.

Members of other societies affiliated to The Arts Society or those who have National Membership are also welcome as guests.

Any guest who joins as a member and pays the membership fee at or before the next lecture will have the guest fee refunded,
